Most people believe as long as their boat weighs less than the capacity of their lift, They are safe. However the capacity of the lift can easily be overloaded with a lighter boat!

The lifts are all designed to have the Center of Gravity "CG" equally spaced Bow to Stern and Port to Starboard. This is not always possible or practical.
